Product Page: Orazio's Olive Oil

Born in Italy and founded in West Vancouver, Orazio’s Olive Oil is 100 per cent traceable from tree to table. In fact, unlike many commercial olive oils, you can trust that Orazio's Olive Oil—a Canadian-based, family-run company—creates 100 per cent Italian, extra-virgin, cold-extracted, organic, non-GMO olive oil, produced to the highest standards.

The olives used to make Orazio's Olive Oil are ethically and sustainably grown in a small town in Calabria, Italy, and are harvested, milled and processed within 24 hours, allowing the oil to retain its maximum freshness and nutritional value. With an aroma of green olives, fresh grass, and a tomato finish, the result is a smooth, fruity, and bright tasting oil that is quick on the pallet, with low acidity and balanced flavour, and just a mild peppery finish.

I enjoyed this olive oil. I found the flavour very mild, but pleasant and slightly fruity. I used it to dip bread and as a salad dressing. It wasn't overpowering for either. I love that it's organic and a local brand that uses Italian olives. I would definitely purchase again.

Probably the best olive oil I have used in Canada!!
The price is the best for the quality as well. I want to know where to buy more here in Calgary. It had a very light and flavourful taste. I put it in my smoothly every morning and also on pasta and salads.

Orazio's Olive oil was a nice light oil , full of flavor and a kick of black pepper . My husband and I both cook with olive oil , so we loved trying it in all of our cooking. From breakfast eggs , all the way up to main dinner meals and recipes. It was delicious and nothing compared to what we normally buy. Far superior in taste and a wonderful addition to our cooking ,enhancing all the flavors . Quality like no other we have ever tried. That it is produced and made by a Canadian Company is great, we love supporting local businesses. We loved this olive oil so much we are switching from our current brand and will only be using this one from now on.

Just like the difference between a tomato fresh off the vine and one that's been shipped, it's the kind of olive oil that reminds you why you should buy good olive oil.

I used the Orazio Olive Oil for marinating meats, cooking veggies, I added it to soups, and I used it on my hair too. I enjoyed the authentic olive taste. It was light and added good flavour to my food dishes. I also like how olive oil is hydrating for hair, so I also tried it on my long hair as a hot oil treatment. It left my hair softer, silkier and lessened the winter crunch of my hair tips. The only downfall was the bottle label states use within 16 months of bottling and my test product was received at 18 months after bottling. I was skeptical at first to try it but after talking to friends and quick Google search, I learned it should be okay if it doesn't smell rancid. It was sealed tight and had no offensive odours when I opened it. So it was a go. I would buy this brand in future.

I think it is delicious. I use it for cooking all the time. I've probably used it about half a dozen times, so certainly haven't finished the bottle. I have used it for mainly browning meats and veggies. I'm looking forward to tomato season for using it in a tomato salad.

This olive oil is excellent. It was used in sauces and in salad dressings. It is light tasting and not heavy as other olive oils can be. I would definitely recommend it

I loved the rich flavour of the Olive soul. I added a drizzle over soup, mixed with steamed vegetables and used as the main ingredient in soba noodle salad dressing. A little goes a long way and it's at the top of my list now!

I quite liked this olive oil as it found it had a smooth taste and it was light and paired well with the dishes I made. I used it with some balsamic vinegar for dipping bread into, roasting vegetables and in pasta. It worked with all the dishes I tried and I am definitely a fan of this product and would use it again!

I'm not sure how one goes about reviewing olive oil. I'm not a foodie but I quite liked both the flavour and the texture. I use it mainly in salads. I haven't seen it in grocery stores near me but I'll certainly keep an eye out for it.

The olive oil was smooth and rich in flavour and could taste a hint of pepper.

Main uses thus far have been for salads and fish. Tried it once for breaks with eggs due to the high smoke point and provided a nice rich taste.

Olive oil is one of my staples and I have tried many different varieties. I have to admit, this is one of the very best I've had. The consistency is light, clean on the palate and let's the flavour of the fresh ingredients shine through. I used mine in a mild dressing and found the herbs really popped. I drizzled on top of portabellos, with some spices & a squeeze of lemon then broiled - it was amazing. Will definitely be looking for this brand on store shelves

I love this olive oil, it is delicious! It's elevated many a dishes, adding it to pasta or on top of pizza. Drizzling over raw veggies and cheese. Our favourite way to enjoy is drizzled on top of a very simple salad (just lettuce) with just a bit of salt and a squeeze of lemon. That's it - let this oil be the star of the dish, it's that good!

I loved the oil's buttery taste and smell. It complimented omelettes with spinach and mushrooms quite lovely. It's also great for dipping bread in!
